Starting on 12th September at 8pm running for 6 weeks. This course will be a gentle yet informative course, working through different areas of well being, and simple yet effective steps we can take to support our physical and mental health. Week one - introduction to wellbeing, why taking care of ourselves is so important, how is everyone feeling? Two simple steps to take away - 1. 5 minute journaling and drinking more water. Week two - All about breathing. This would be an interactive session about the vagus nerve, vagus nerve breathing, grounding and earthing and a chat about how to apply this when we feel overwhelmed during the day. Week three - Foods that can help with general energy levels during the day - the basics about protein and sugar. Simple ways to boost protein and look at sugar intake. Week four - How to encourage a good night sleep. lavender oil, baths, dimming lights, reducing intake of coffee, how to switch off the blue screen on your devices and mindfulness practices to help with a good night sleep. Week five - Time planning for wellbeing during your busy day. This again would be an interactive session on how to plan things during the day to support wellbeing. vagus nerve breathing, 5 minute breaks, meal planning, etc Week 6 - Thinking about gut health to lift your mood. 3 simple tips on how to get lots of good bacteria into the gut to help support our mood.
