A 5 week course to help boost employee physical and emotional wellbeing with Jennifer McDiarmid

REBA employee wellbeing survey carried out in 2018 showed nearly half of all Companies involved have a defined wellbeing strategy in place, with 1/4 of those using it as a strategy to increase employee engagement.

Nearly three quarters of the respondents were worried that a high pressure environment is having a negative impact on the wellbeing of their staff.
 

 

I run a 5 week employee Nutrition and Wellbeing programme aimed to support both physical and emotional wellbeing whilst helping to educate individuals on how to understand their bodies and support their own health.

Unlike the individual talks I offer, running a 5 week course provides greater advantages on helping the people in your team make educated and sustained changes, whilst having the opportunity between sessions to work with a qualified nutritional therapist and NLP coach. 

The 5 week programmer runs for 1 hour, 1 day per week and can be open to anyone who wants to improve their wellbeing.  Employees are encouraged to attend all 5 sessions to build a greater depth of knowledge and get the maximum benefit from the course.  It is possible to attend just the sessions that are of most interest to the individual though. The 5 sessions are broken down into the following topics:

Week 1 – Supporting the body when stressed

Week 2 – How to increase energy and focus at work

Week 3 – Beating sugar and coffee cravings

Week 4 – Boosting the immune system

Week 5 – Top tips for long-term health and wellbeing

The information provided during the sessions is delivered in a positive and practical way, whilst looking at how small simple steps can build to make a fundamental impact on how both the body and the mind are functioning. All the information is based on the latest scientific research and delivered by a qualified nutritional therapist.

Confidential employee wellbeing questionnaires and assessments are completed at the start and end of the course to measure the improvements made when attending the course.
